Zuken have just released Engineering Data Management E3.EDM which also has within it Revision management and project management, cost depending on options is £2K – £5K, which then could bring it up to about the same price as EPLAN Professional. Project management could be very useful as well, but I’m not sure how much use I would get out of the other features here? Does anybody have any ideas what out of this list is really useful? Revision management is essential really, unless third party software is used such as SVN or Vault (but this would only be version control), I’d much rather use the revision management native to the software.
